Altered Vintage books. Shabby chic style.

Hey everyone. I have made another project. I have wanted to do this for some time now. I got some vintage books at the thrift store a few months back. I finally got around to altering them.

I used Pion Design paper to cover the books. I used some Kaisercraft flowers to embellish the books. I also used some vintage lace I found at the thrift store.

There is 3 books that I glued together. It is perfect with the shabby chic style.

I have the books listed in my etsy shop. You can take a look here.

I saw this the other day when I was doing the Swirlydoo's blog hop. This is so gorgeous!! I was so in love with it I went to the thrift store to buy some books. I didn't see a price so took them to the checkout. Imagine my surprise when he said that one of them was $5. I told him now way. I know I can get used books cheaper than that! I understand yours are vintage but I don't care since I am just wanting the altered look!! Anyway, gorgeous project!!
