I am super excited to share this project with you. Most of you know i am a part of Jade's squirrel society. This month's theme was soft winter romance. I wanted to do something different so I picked up a jewelry box from michaels instead of the regular cigar box. It was so much work but well worth it. I hope she likes it.

The items I used on the box from the store are:

clear crystal flowers
bling trim

For my project I altered this journal. I got it in the wooden section. I used some recollections paper. The collection is love notes. Super pretty paper. I used mod podge to adhere it to the journal. I did not use it on top of the paper just as a glue. I used some of the gorgeous lace found in the store along with the butterflies and little flowers.

My First project is using the District Market burlap canvas. This was so much fun to play with. In the video below i have a tutorial on a technique i used to make a cool accent embellishment. It's called image transfer. Be sure to check out the video below. I will have a sped up video showing you how i created this canvas on the swirlydoos blog on the 21st. I stamp with the gesso....make some really easy flowers and use the masks.So be sure to check it out. It is packed with fun techniques.

For this tag I used a technique that is pretty simple but makes any project pop with texture and color. I stamped with the white gesso that is in the technique kit. Then i sprayed the glimmer mist over it using the mask. Under the picture is a video tutorial of that technique.

Prima December BAP. Tiny Feet

I created this Layout for the Prima BAP challenge. I love this challenge as you can tell I do it often. The Sketches are wonderful.

For this layout I used some old paper but definitely gorgeous paper. A oldie but goodie i guess!! hehe!! I used the Prima Pastiche paper. I used my cricut to cut out the die cut shape. I used my distress tool to rough up the edges. I also inked the edges with some vintage photo distress ink. I used a maya road chipboard banner set to create the little banner. so cute. I used some glimmer mist to color the banner. The alpha letters are from websters pages. I also used a recollections flower spray and some random flowers in my stash. The white lace i get from ebay. The gorgeous pink lace i get from Jules.

The photo was taken a couple months ago. We had won a photo session. She did a awesome job.

I made this layout over the weekend. I have it displayed in my living room.

I used My Minds Eye lost and found Christmas paper. This paper is so gorgeous. It is a great christmas collection to have. I used some Wild Orchid crafts flowers and some Lindy Stamp Gang sprays. I also used my cricut to cut out the scallop circle. I used some gorgeous trims from The Piece by Piece.

About 2 weeks ago I was contacted by Lisa asking me if I would be a part of a new department in the Swirlydoos kit club. I checked out the website and more than fell in love with the kits and the gallery.......I of course said yes. This new department will be called Swirlydoos Imagination Lab. I will be bringing you tutorials on techniques, products and more. I hope you are excited as I am. I had the pleasure of chatting with a couple of the ladies and they are so wonderful. TPBP Design Team Project. A Place for Santa's Cookies!

I am so excited about this project. I think it turned out so cute. I cut out a cone shape with my cricut cartridge tie the knot. Then added gorgeous trims from TPBP store. I also added a burlap bag on the inside of the cone. The paper I used is My Minds Eye Lost and Found Christmas paper collection. Gorgeous paper. Very simple to make. You can even get your kids in on it! have them decorate one.

I have been busy over the 4 day weekend. With Hubby home I took full advantage! I decided to play along this month for the Viva La Verve challenges. Yes I did all 4! Yay Me! Mateo is so smart and the sweetest boy you will ever meet. He is the greatest big brother to "gorgeous Abby".

It has been WAY too long since I last blogged. I have been away for a month visiting my family so I was so anxious to get back to my desk and create something. I needed a little inspiration so i decided to do this weeks sketch. It was super simple.

I used some Bo Bunny paper. I love this paper. Thanks Ann! I also used my cricut to cut out the butterfly I used the Tie the Knot cartridge. and I also used my sizzix to cut out the lacey circle. I used a sticker from the collection as well!

12x12 Layout for TPBP

I have had this idea for this layout since I got the gorgeous trims from TPBP. Using mostly embellishments and lace and very little paper. I did use a little bit of Websters Pages Hollywood Vogue paper. I used some fabulous flowers from Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts. I also tried out Tammy's ruffle flower trim Tutorial. I love love how it turned out. The ruffle trim that Bev sells is so soft and gorgeous. I layered 2 different laces on top of eachother. I glimmer misted the bottom layer. it came out gorgeous. I punched out some butterflies from some vellum. This layout was so much fun to make and Bevs trims made it so gorgeous.

Hello everyone. I am proud to announce that I am lucky enough to be a part of TPBP design team. Beverly is the owner and she is just so fabulous. She sells the most gorgeous lace and trims.
I received my DT box a while ago I of course didnt have much time to create. The other day Abby needed a brown headband and I thought of the fabulous flower squares that are available in the store. I just cut one of the flowers out and then cut a little smaller one out and glued it on top of the larger one. Super simple. and so cute. There is so many fabulous things you can do with the squares.

Hello everyone I have been MIA for a while but that is because I gave birth to my beautiful daughter on May 30th! Labor went so fast only 4 hours..... I was a week over due and was so ready for her to be here! I went into labor the day before they were going to induce me.... I was so happy! She weighed 8lbs 9ounces and was 19inches. She eats 4ounces of pumped breast milk every 3-4 hours. she is a great sleeper. I am able to put her down in her bassinet when she is almost asleep and she will fall asleep just perfect. My son is desperate for attention but he loves his sister so much. the other day i was coming into the living room and i see him trying to console her. She was being a little fussy and he was putting a blanket on her and holding the binky in her mouth saying "is that better baby?" It melted my heart. At the hospital the pediatrician noticed a hip click. Which I was totally surprised because my son had it and i thought what are the odds of both of them having it. turns out it can be genetic. She has to wear a Palvic Harness for a unknown amount of time. but other then that she is so healthy and happy! anyways here are a few pictures of my little angel

Hey everyone... yes another project. My mojo is going like crazy and i cant stop creating... LOL. This layout I made using the Prima Build a Page sketch. Super fun sketch....

The layout is made using the Prima pastiche paper. I used lots of different prima flowers. I also used the last of the fabulous lace i got from Jules.

I made this layout for my Bestie Jeana.... I am going to be getting a shadow frame to put it in so she can hang it up in her craft area.

Secret Squirrel Cigar Box Swap!

Hey everyone!! I am super excited to share with you my FIRST altered cigar box. It was so much fun and so much simpler then i thought. I started off using mod podge to put the paper down but i did not like how it looked so i just used red sticky tape instead. I used the gorgeous Country Estate paper from Websters pages!! I also used alot of embellishments from the Pink Paislee butterfly garden collection. I hope my partner likes it!! :) I just have to figure out what im going to put in it!!

Hey everyone. I had some time to scrapbook and I decided to play along over at Sketchy Thursday blog. I used the fabulous Prima Madeline paper. I am in love with this paper. It is so fun and bright.
I used some flowers from the collection. I cut out some of the butterflies from the paper and i also cut out the die cut with the quote "true beauty lies within. Hey everyone I decided to break out my 12x12 Prima Botanical paper. I am in Love. I bought some more last night...hehee! The Bluemoon Sketch was simple but I love to put my own twist on them. I hope I didnt go overboard. LOL!

The photo is from a few years back but still one of my faves. I used lots of prima flowers and pearls. I also used some Tim Holtz metal embellishments. Some of the flowers are from Alee'. Most of the products used were purchased from Rhonda.

Hey all. I had so much fun creating this card. It took me a few tries to get it "just right" but I love how it turned out.

I used the Sketch from Get Sketchy and the Say It in....blue, chocolate and pink challenge for AnnaBelle Stamps.

For my card I used some Websters Pages patterned paper. I also used a border stamp from AnnaBelle Stamps along with the flat back pearls. The sentiment stamp is from Verve Stamps. The gorgeous flower is from Alee'

Today is another fabulous AnnaBelle Stamps challenge. This one is one of my favorite techniques. Emboss Resist. It is fairly easy and so much fun.

For my card I used some Making Memories Just Chillen boy paper. I used the Rockin Instrumental Stamp set. I love this set. This is great for that teen boy...or not so teen musician.

I also used the Tim Holtz hanging sign and some fabulous Lagoon Sprinkles. The ribbon I used I believe is from the Making Memories collection also.

Most of you know who Alee' is. If you dont she is fabulous. She has a youtube channel and she sells beautiful flowers in her etsy store. I am always purchasing flowers from her store because I LOVE using them on my projects. Well I get a semi surprise package from her and inside was some of her flowers and some Greeting farm Stamped images. I dont own any. So I was so excited. I right away wanted to color them. My favorite one she sent me was Flirty Anya. she is so cute. I used Bic Mark-it markers to color her. I love the markers. anyways I just wanted to share my project.

Today is another Sketch challenge. For my card I used the Lil molly flowers stamp set. Which is 15% off right now. I used some websters pages papers and some cheap trims from Flamingo scraps. I used a Martha stewart border punch. I also used my bic markers to color the girl. The sprinkles i used are the Lagoon color.

I'm so excited to be sharing again. Today I am going to share a card with no sentiment. The card is standard size. I sometimes have a hard time finding the perfect sentiment for a card so most of them go without. I think Websters Pages caters perfectly to cards and projects. The papers are so beautiful. For my card I used the Waiting for Santa papers. I used a few different papers from the line and I used the 6x6 papers. I did some fussy cutting and cut out the fabulous dress form. I used a bloomer and some other flowers. I also used some liquid pearls. I used some lace I had in my stash and the ribbon is some of the fabulous cheap trims. The butterflies are from a Martha Stewart punch. I hope you guys enjoy and I hope that this inspires you to create.

Hello everyone. Today I bring you a project I created for the fabulous Flamingo scraps store. It was so much fun to create it. Also everyone else had the same products and its so fun to see everyone else's projects so make sure you go check out the blog.

Here is a list of products I was given to make the project.
December's Flamingo Five items are:
1 and 2. Two sheets pf Pink Paislee Mistletoe & Co. patterned paper
3. Garnet elines
4. Gunmetal stickles
5. Grab bag with blue primas, red primas, blue lace and a Maya Road Star stickpin

I also used a few papers from my own stash. The picture was taken last year. We didnt get family photos this year which im pretty bummed about but we got alot of pictures last year 137 to be exact.... :) So I think skipping a year isnt going to be that bad.

Annabelle Stamps December Preview Release 1

Hello everyone. I hope everyone is staying warm and having a great time shopping. Here is San Diego its been about 85-90 degrees. Yes!! I hate it. LOL! I also have not done any Christmas shopping or sent out my Christmas cards. I'm so behind!!

Today I am sharing the 1st preview this week. This stamp set is called Stemmed Flowers. This stamp set is so cute. It has so many fabulous ways to use it. There are alot of different flowers to use which makes it extra fun.

I used some brown/kraft card stock and just some scrap papers I had. I used some chalk inks which i think look really good with the stamps. The ribbon is from Michael's.Its such a simple card but I love the simplicity of it.

For my card I used some Little yellow bicycle papers. The stamp set I used is Wise Men. This stamp set is great for all those christmas cards. I embossed my images in tinsel embossing powder.

I made this layout with websters pages Waiting for santa papers. I am in love with this paper. I will for sure be getting some more. I purchased my papers from Flamingo Scraps.

This layout is of my niece last year. I think the photo is perfect for the papers. I also used a technique I saw from Rose. She is so talented and I am always scraplifting her ideas!! hehe!! :) I also used some flowers and lace i purchased from Alee'. I hope you all buy this paper it is my fave.

For my card i used the balloons. I also used some water color pencils and my water color brush. The paper I used it October Afteroon fly a kit paper. I put some glossy accents on the balloons to give them a little texture.

Hello everyone. I hope everyone is having a great week. Today I bring you a sketch from Annabelle stamps.

For my card I used almost the same color scheme as last weeks challenge. It is just so stunning. I used the Branch Out stamp set. I used some Websters Pages paper. I also used some vintage seam trim. To cut the circles i used my circle scissor plus. To stamp the image and sentiment I used Stazon. I used the Lagoon 6mm sprinkles. The color of these sprinkles is amazing.

Black and white. The combination is a classic combo. I just love how cards turn out when they are black and white.

Over at the Websters Pages website they have monthly challenges. Most of the time I site out being very intimidated by the fabulous talent over there. This month I was super inspired. The challenge is dress a dress form. I instantly thought of my wire naked dress form sitting on my desk. I worked on it for a few days here and there and finally I was happy with it.
