Altered Vintage Printers Tray Using Prima Tea Thyme Collection

The Printers Tray is for sale in my etsy shop. You can find the listing here

Today I am sharing with you a altered project. I picked up a vintage wood Printers Tray at my local thrift store. Here is a before photo.

When I picked this up I knew I would need a few days to work on it. I had it sitting in my closet for a few months. When I saw the Prima Tea Thyme collection I knew it was time to bust it out and get busy.....

I had alot of fun creating this project. I had trouble at first. I had no idea where to start. But I went for it. I painted the whole thing and then measured and cut out the papers to fit in the squares. I also distressed the papers before adhering them down.

I then pulled out all the yummy goodies I wanted to use. I used products from Glitz Designs, 7 Gypsies, Kaisercraft and more.

I used alot of vintage laces and trims. I punched out alot of butterflies from the paper collection. I used random flowers from my stash.

Here is some close up pictures.

You can watch the video on the printers tray below.

Hope you enjoyed seeing my project. Thank you for stopping by. I love to read your comments and feedback.

The Piece by Piece August Design Team Project

Hello everyone. I hope you all had a fabulous weekend.

I have a project to share with you. I made this layout using the new Prima Tea Thyme collection. I made this for the August Prima BAP challenge.

This collection is so gorgeous. It is so shabby and vintage looking.

I had a blast making this layout. I used a ton of lace from TPBP. I layered 2 papers together and distressed the edges and crinkled them up. I used a variety of different flowers and embellishments.

The picture is of Abby (my 1 year old). She has the chunkiest cheeks and the prettiest eyelashes.....hehe!!

Hope you have time to stop by my youtube channel to check out the video.

Love is Patient. Mojo Monday 253

I have a card to share with you today. I used the sketch from Mojo Monday blog.

For this card I used the Prima Tea Thyme 6x6 paper. This paper is so gorgeous. The stamp is from the Tea Thyme collection as well. I used the tin can prima ink. I had alot of fun making this card. It is very shabby. I used a Wild Orchid Crafts flower that I painted and misted. I layered some paper that i distressed with the Prima tool. I used some lace that I had in my stash to pull the grey from the sentiment. I also used some white satin ribbon and tied a bow. I finished off the card with some pearls.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Of course I couldnt resist adding butterflies.  Here is a video of How to put the tree together. Hope you enjoy.
