When I grow up Layout and Where Have I Been???

When I grow up Layout
I did some scrapping last night. I hope you like it! I used the My minds eye Contrary papers. I got some cute page kits from Rhonda. She has a fabulous

ebay store.I got really messy with this Layout. I did some painting and distressing. It was alot of fun. I used mostly MME but the letter stickers "i want to be" are october afternoon. I also used some basic grey ribbon. I used a maya road chipboard bird. and a Tim Holtz stamp. I used some glossy accens on the clouds. Lots of layering. I hope you enjoy!!

Where have I been??
Im sure some of you have been wondering where i have been?. To be honest I am not as enthused about scrapping as i used to be. I still Love it but a hobby turned into a serious addiction and all jokes aside it was getting in the way of my life. My son started saying "all you do is craft mom" or "your on the laptop again" that is is so disheartening. I want to be a great mother! My addiction is scaled back down to a hobby again. I haven't been chatting at the beach because a few minutes turn into a few hours and its best i just stay away. I will pop in now and then. Also I am at a place in my life where i like it to be drama free. There is a lot of snickering going on and i hate gossip.I would rather stay out of it. I am just going to be a mom with a hobby!! :)

Hi Tiffany...I just love your layout! It is wonderful! I also really appreciate what you shared in the "Where Have I Been??" post! Little ones grow up faster than you can even imagine! Just cherish every moment you have while you have it! There will be lots of time for extra crafting later. DON'T give it up!!...just find a nice balance! I'm right there with you as far as drama and gossip! If I want that I can turn on the tv! lol...Nancy :o)

I couldn't make a comment on your youtube video, as it kept saying ERROR. So I've come to your blog to leave my childhood memory.

Hhhmmmmm my favourite childhood memory, let me think here for a moment it seems so long ago. I must say my most favourite memory is of my one of my eldest brothers (now deceased) visiting on his big powerful motorbike, me and bringing me my first ever Picnic chocolate bar. I was only about 6 at the time, and we were poor and chocolate was a once a year treat at xmas. He always used to take me for motorbike rides when he visited and I felt invincible. He also used to spend alot of time with me, when he visited, as he lived about 2 hours away. And he taught me to colour in properly, by not going over the lines. Those where precious memories I will treasure forever, as he has now passed away, as of August 2009. Thanks for the awesum giveaway. I love your flowers they are the most beautifl handmade flowers I have seen, I have tried to make lollipop flowers but am not good at colour matching the fabric, and always burn my fingers on the hotglue. Thanks so much for sharing your gorgeous art.

Hi Tiffany, Thank you for doing this giveaway. I had already left a comment on your youtube channel, but just incase I'll leave one here as well. My only favorite childhood memory of my dad is the time when I turned five or six. He took my sister and I for a walk to the convenient store and bought an apple pie. We came home dancing and singing "happy birthday" around the coffee table.
