Glitz Design February Blog Challenge.

Happy Tuesday everyone.

I am bringing you a project I made for MBT. I am entering it in the Glitz blog challenge. Wish me luck! :)




For the layout i used my new FAVORITE paper the Glitz Pretty In Pink. I can not get enough of this paper. After I made the Album using this paper i knew i needed more lol. you can see the album here.

I kind of strayed a little bit with the colors but its pretty close. I am not one to stay in the lines of a challenge haha!!

I used a old Once Upon A Sketch....Layout sketch. I think it was perfect for this layout.

I distressed all the edges with my Prima tool. For the large scallops i used my Cricut to cut them out. It is a Cake basics cartridge. I just layered some gorgeous lace found at MBT. On top of that is a layer of paper that i used my Martha Stewart punch on. I used my Spellbinders lacey circles die for the circles. I layered some gorgeous flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. I sprayed them with some Lindys Gossamer gold and pink chalkboard spray. It is titled "Gorgeous Face" My 5 year old son calls her that. Its so cute. hehe!!! The letters are from Websters Page. I used some Recollections bling. I also used some cute small acrylic flowers from MBT. I clustered some flowers where i put some Kaisercraft die cuts...this was for the blue color hehehe!! Also on my layout is some Wheat sprays and a acrylic spray with bead cap. I curled up the edges of the scalloped edges to give it more dimension. I also clustered some of the gorgeous Acrylic flowers with the organza and bling from MBT. The tag on the left in the cluster is from MME. To finish it off I used the other end of the lace to make a border for the picture. (can't waste any of that lace hehe)

MBT Card Tutorial

Together Always Card.

Hi everyone. Hope you all had a fabulous week and are ready for the weekend. I know I am.

I made a card for The Piece by Piece. I used some gorgeous paper from Websters Pages. It is from the Sunday Picnic collection. I used some of the eyelet trim from TPBP. you can find it here. I made a stick pin and stuck it next to a Kaisercraft wood key hole. layered on top of that is some Wild Orchid Craft Cherry Blossom flowers.

Cameo mini album for THEJULEBOX.COM

Hello everyone!! I am so excited to share with you my mini album i created. Jules over at Thejulebox.com designed this gorgeous album with accucut. I am so honored she asked me to create with it.

There are many different options when ordering the album from Jules. I think thats what I love is that there is something for everyone. Make sure to browse her other albums, lace and more. I used Glitz Design Pretty in Pink paper collection. SUPER GORGEOUS!!!!! I used the 12x12 paper and some 6x6. I used a lot of goodies i got from my friend Miranda. Tons of Wild Orchid Craft flowers. AND....... i even put pictures in it!!! yay for me!! lol. For the cover i did a crackle on the cameo. It turned out super cute. I used my Prima distress tool to smooth the edges and then i added some picket fence distress stain. You will see a lot of butterflies. They are punched out from my Martha Stewart punches. I used some kaisercraft wood embellishments.

OUAS and Swirlydoos. Unconditional Love.

I feel so blessed to be a part of such a fabulous and talented group of ladies over at Swirlydoos. We were given the opportunity to be guest designers for OUAS. I was so excited and nervous. Especially because we HAD to journal. well I did but i put it in the bottle so no one had to see my horrible handwriting. LOL.

I used Websters Pages Ladies and Gents paper. This paper is perfect for the masculine layouts. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. They are my NEW favorite the chrysanthemums. they are so pretty. I also used some gorgeous trims from The Piece by Piece

The picture is from a few years ago. Its still a favorite for me. All these pictures from this photo session are. hehe!! I use them all the time.

The Tech kit this month is a must have. Super fun and it's something different rather then a layout or card. For my Drawers I created them using the Kaisercraft sweet nothings paper. I will have a video of how i put the boxes together this saturday so make sure you are subbed to the youtube channel.

Below the pictures you will find a small tutorial on how i created the key for one of the boxes.










I also played with the Clearly for art white out sheet that comes in the tech kit. This stuff is amazing. Here is my keys that i made. One I created a butterfly using some alcohol inks and stickles. The other I made a flower using the tattered floral die, embossing folder, smooch spritz and Graphic 45 metal flowers.




You can heat this stuff up as much as you want it will not melt. its so neat how you can create the perfect shape. You can not use water based mediums such as glimmer mist. It is plastic and won't stick that well.

Butterfly Garden tag and Layout

I made these on my ustream show. I try to do a ustream every friday at 8ish PM pacific.
one is a tag i made for a friend. its a canvas tag using the pink paislee butterfly garden paper. I did a image transfer technique.
