Swirlydoos Kits August blog hop!

Welcome to Swirlydoos' August Kit Reveal Blog Hop Block Party!!

If you came here from Heidi's blog, then you are on the right track.  If not, go back to Swirlydoos' blog and start from there.  We have some amazing projects for you to see today !!

The Technique kit was so much fun. I painted the The"branches" and then covered the "leaves" with some of the patterned paper in the kit. I tucked some lace here and there. I used one of the wood frames that come in the kit. I used a frame that came in the main kit too. I place some cute flowers here and there. Of course I couldnt resist adding butterflies.  Here is a video of How to put the tree together. Hope you enjoy.

You have until midnight, eastern time, on Sunday, August 12th to complete the hop. Winners will be announced on the Swirlydoos Blog on Monday the 13th.  In order to qualify to win here is what you need to do:
1: Visit all of the blogs and leave a comment on each. This way we know you were there. Become a follower if you're not already. Take your time. There are REALLY beautiful things to see along the way.
2: Before you leave each blog, look for the “special” words and write it down.
Once you have visited all the blogs and collected all the special words, they will create a sentemce.
3: Finally, go back to the Swirlydoos blog and leave a comment letting us know how much fun you had, tell us the sentence that was created with all of the special words you collected.     Can't wait to hear from you.

My special word is : Ordinary Life

The party continues over at Lynne's blog.  Have fun!

Oh how I have a love/hate relationship with hops like this. I love seeing all the beautiful projects and layouts, but I hat how inadequate my own work looks in comparison. Oh well....Your tree is amazing, what a wonderful gift idea.

Wow!! Gorgeous. I wasn't sure what to do with the tree, but decorating it and using it as a (rather large) embellishment on a page would be great! Thanks for the inspiration.
